Our Adelaide POP has experienced a grid power failure and is currently running on battery based UPS and is expected to be returning to the mains based power in 3 hours this evening, with the grid power lost at midnight on the evening of Monday November 13th.
Unfortunately VPS Hosting Node 100 appears to have suffered a power event in the transition to UPS battery power and is currently offline while investigations continue as to its issues.
All other Nodes and services at the Adelaide POP are still operational and online.
Updates will be posted as comments to this post as the situation evolves.
Node 100 is back online and all but a few of its customer VPS are running again now.
Affected VPS currently still down on Node 100 are all large Storage VPS plan type VPS which are on a large HDD based storage array which is in the process of being activated, but which requires a disk volume check to be completed before the array will become usable for those few VPS. This check is expected to complete in a few more hours (the HDD array is dozens of TB in size) and once that’s done, these VPS can be started again.
The large HDD based array previously mentioned has been activated and all VPS previously running on Node 100 are now back online again.
Grid power has been restored to the Adelaide POP at around 2:30am.
